Access Control Systems
in Barrow-in-Furness

Decide who can get into your building, which doors they can open, and when. We install, service, repair and upgrade access control for businesses and shared buildings across Barrow-in-Furness and Cumbria.

How access control works

Instead of keys that can be copied or lost, people use a fob, card, code or phone to open the doors they are allowed through. If someone leaves or loses a fob, you remove their access without changing any locks. Depending on the system, you can also see who opened which door and when.

Servicing, faults and upgrades

Doors that will not release, fobs that stop working, locks that do not secure, or a controller that has gone offline can stop a building working. We service access control systems, find and fix faults, and upgrade older systems when parts are no longer available or the system no longer does what you need.

Doors on fire escape routes must release correctly in an emergency, and we check how they behave whenever we work on them.

Access control installation

We look at your doors, how people move through the building and who needs access where. Then we recommend a system, fit the readers, locks and controllers, set up your users, and show you how to add and remove people.

Working with your other systems

Access control can work alongside CCTV, intruder alarms and fire alarms. For example, doors on escape routes can release when the fire alarm goes off. We plan these links so each system does its job.
