A small shop, a block of flats, a guest house and a care home all need different set-ups. We look at your premises and recommend a system that fits, from a few linked detectors to a full panel-based system covering several floors.

Fire alarm systems need regular servicing by a competent engineer. For most business premises, the British Standard for fire alarms (BS 5839-1) recommends a service at least every six months, alongside a simple weekly test by the person responsible for the building. Your fire risk assessment or insurer may ask for more.
A service visit covers the panel, detectors, call points, sounders and batteries, checks for faults and the causes of false alarms, and ends with a written record for your fire log book.
Most fire alarm faults can be fixed, whether it is a fault light on the panel, a detector that keeps going off, a sounder that will not stop or a system that will not reset. Our engineers find the cause, repair or replace the faulty part, and test the system before we leave.
If false alarms keep coming back, we look for the reason, such as the wrong type of detector, a detector in the wrong place, dust or steam, so it stops happening.
Want a new engineer without a new system? We service and repair many fire alarm systems installed by other companies. Tell us the make of the panel and when it was last serviced, and we will confirm whether we can take it over.
Holiday lets, guest houses and rented homes need fire safety that works for guests or tenants who do not know the building. If you have a fire risk assessment, we can install the alarm system it calls for, service it, and give you a record of each visit for your fire safety file.
